30 years after its birth, Clavo still has all its founders actively working, alongside an integrated second generation that brings freshness and allows the company to bet on new trends. Our founders have been printing their personal seals since they created the company. The initial staff of 7 people was gradually increased until it became one big family. Family values are transmitted to each of the workers, because unity and cohesion throughout the company is vital.

WE CARRY OUT VARIOUS TYPES OF PRODUCTION.
By the rise of mass consumption in societies, our life style and eating habits changed dramatically. In this modern era, we employ both traditional and artisanal ways and advanced methods of productions, applying cutting edge machineries. Our deep freezing tunnels permit us to produce products such as seafood, meat, pasties and puff pastry dough. We also produce refrigerated products which are manufactured in a white room. Thanks to the autoclave system, we carry out pasteurization and vacuum packaging. Furthermore we have our own fully sterilized canning line.

GALICIA FACTORY The location of the factory, close to the SEA, permits us to concentrate on fish based products with access to top quality raw material. This plant has currently more than 300 employees, working together to develop top quality products, producing over 600 tons per month. In more than 32000 m2 areas, Galicia Factory places 8 production lines that are operated in three production shifts. We also have 6 rapid freezing tunnels, 4 multi-head weighers, mixing machines, fryers, stuffers, laminators, packing machine and dosing system. We also have an industrial bakery oven with fermentation chamber, fully equipped kitchen and research and development (R&D) laboratory with dosimeter room where our people with outstanding knowledge work.
In 1993, we opened our second factory in Valladolid province. At the very beginning, we had cold storage capable of storing 10.000 pallets.From being a single-product factory, it became totally versatile, polyvalent, with more than 80 different products and growing in volume and development and distinction of the products. With an area of over 25,000 square metres and more than 100 workers, it is equipped with the latest technology to be able to produce 400 tons per month. It has four production lines working in two shifts, three deep freezing tunnels and one nitro-tunnel. Furthermore there are three multi-head weighers, mixing machines, fryers, stuffers, laminators, packing machinery, and of course, it has its own R&D team and lab. CASTILLA Y LEÓN

Today, we produce
Millions of kilograms of meat products a month. MEAT TODAY, WE PRODUCE MORE THAN 500 TONS OF MEAT PRODUCTS A MONTH. In 2005, our research and development department engineered our breakthrough to the meat market. This was a big step forward for Clavo, and we have become specialists in developing meat-based products. The Villaroy chicken breast, the Cordon Bleu, and the Breaded chicken fillet soon became some of our top selling products.

our company's essence. FISH CLAVO FOOD FACTORY embarked upon its adventure of frozen food in 1985. We started from filleting and processing fish. Our passion for fish is our company’s essence. We are the one of the first fish-processing factories in Spain. We work with the best raw material. Our network of distributors comes from the world of fish. As the company grows, it focuses on adding value to the product, launching to the domestic market top sellers, which became the national benchmark and drove the Company one step above. Some of them: our “Stuffed Baby Squid”, “San Marino”, and the much-loved “Euroshrimp”.

We have eco-efficient; environmentally-friendly vehicles specialized in the frozen food delivery that never breaks the cold chain.

SUPERMARKETS

Today, we have embarked upon a new challenging voyage. We created a new brand specialized for retail. We are offering a complete selection of homemade, artisan, elaborated and incredible tasting products. Our products are already in many supermarkets, but building the brand “La Familia de Lola” is a turning point for the company.

Through our introduction to this sector, we aim to reaffirm our company´s philosophy: “family values” as a vital ingredient.
